At Acorn Waste Tech Services, we provide a wide range of recycling services for a variety of materials. This page displays the most common materials that we can collect and process along with details of the recycling bins that are available to hire.
We specialise in UPVC recycling and process several hundred tonnes per month of scrap UPVC doors, window frames and fascias. We will take any quality UPVC frames, either post industrial or post consumer windows and doors.
High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic polymer made from petroleum.
As one of the most versatile plastics around, HDPE plastic is used in a wide
variety of applications including, plastic bottles, fertilizer and weedkiller
cans, plastic milk bottles, bottles and containers used for hair products and
cleaning.
We collect/ take deliveries of bulk loads of these, that we then recycle to be made into new products
as described above.
Woven polypropylene sacks (PP) and bags are used for a wide variety of agricultural, industrial and construction purposes, such as fertilizer seeds. They are 100% recyclable, to be used over and over again to make the same product.
